Yummmmm! Thank you for posting! Just one ques, I assume the sodium comes from the ketchup and mustard?? Or is it the tomato sauce? I would like to make this one with a lower sodium content if possible. Thanks in advance!

The sodium comes from the ketchup and mustard.  If you can find a low carb ketchup that is also low sodium (mine wasn’t), that would be ideal and it would lower the sodium quite a bit.

Where can I find ‘low-carb ketchup’?

    • Kristine Fretwell October 27, 2011 at 7:49 pm #

You should be able to find it at any grocery store.  It may also be called no-sugar-added ketchup.

Superstore has a low sodium no sugar added ketchup from their Blue Menu collection

That’s the one I use Grace.  In the US, I think Heinz has a low carb ketchup.
