Many of you have been asking me questions about Mike & Elliot’s Lean Hybrid Muscle Reloaded program over the past few days…

So I asked those guys to put these videos together for you which will explain the theory and science behind their program as well as show you  step-by-step how the workouts are designed.

I figured hearing from the program creators themselves via video was the simplest and easiest way to get all of your questions answered.

The Theory Behind Lean Hybrid Muscle Reloaded

Here Elliott takes you through the theory behind the program and shows you how you actually train this Type 3 Muscle for increased strength and muscle. After the video, you’ll have a better feel on the periodization and exercise selection in order to reach your muscle building goals.

Hybrid Workout Design Part 1

In this video, Elliott describes the difference between Type 1, Type 2 and the “Super Hybrid Muscle” Type 3 fibers. He also discusses the main reason most people fail to build muscle and burn fat at the same time.

In this video, Elliott shows you exactly how to design “hybrid” muscle building work outs and reveals his best “trick” to training for maximum muscle and minimum fat.

    [..YouTube..] I am very explosive with lifts. But I focus on endurance too. An example is my inlcine bench press. 6 sets 145×12, 225×10,275×6,315×4,225×19,185×5 slow reps I am the only I know that does them. I count 5 seconds down hold 5 sec then up for 5. Sounds a lot easier then it is. Same thing with legs 5 sets 225×12,315X10,405×8,505×6.405×20. I know my legs should be stronger. But reps under 5 I gain nothing. I can gain 10lbs in a week easy no help. I have gone to 425 on declines for one.

    [..YouTube..] I weigh 290 at 6’1 but do 6 sets of 8 wide grip pullups . Basically can’t use hammer strength machines because I max them out easy same with all machines for that matter. Your right though it is additude. When I lift I will turn on some zombie and I know in my head I will not fail and push myself until my body breaks before I would give up. That goes for high reps and lower reps. Hard to explain to someone who is a runner lol never stop and never step back thats how you overcome

My workouts are also done in 20 to 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. I am going to keep this up for another week then go back to lifting heavy. It’s just more fun lifting the heavier weight.

    for the last three weeks I have been doing 4 sets of 12 reps with 30 seconds rest. My short term results. I get a massive pump. My workouts are also done in 20 to 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. I am going to keep this up for another week then go back to lifting heavy. It’s just more fun lifting the heavier weight.

    [..YouTube..] i always thought i was type 1 because im 145lbs 5’9” with little muscle mass. but i gravitate towards type 2 workouts, because i enjoy and accel at them alot more than type 1 workouts.i cant do endurace or cardio/long distance stuff to save my life, but will bench 225 and deadlift 245 without needing to utilize much of a ‘psyco attitude’does this make me type 3? or is this somewhat common for a type 1? im not sure

    i always thought i was type 1 because im 145lbs 5’9” with little muscle mass. but i gravitate towards type 2 workouts, because i enjoy and accel at them alot more than type 1 workouts.i cant do endurace or cardio/long distance stuff to save my life, but will bench 225 and deadlift 245 without needing to utilize much of a ‘psyco attitude’does this make me type 3? or is this somewhat common for a type 1? im not sure

    [..YouTube..] Great vid. I have though about geting serious about increasing my vert cause I’ve had a 30 + inch vert for years without having done much to get it other than playing basketball. I understand that weightlifting unless done very explosively, will partially change your muscles fibers over time to what I know as type 2 a whitch is something inbetween type 1 and 2 b. That’s why I won’t try to get too big and heavy.
