How To Get Ripped Eating Healthy Fast Food | Nutrition 101

Guys, I’ve been saying it for years, if you eat garbage you’ll look and feel like garbage. Problem is, this garbage (aka false health foods) seems to be EVERYWHERE these days! Don’t be fooled though…these so-called health foods are nothing more than cleverly packaged junk foods in a healthy food disguise. Food companies are getting smarter with their marketing and it is VERY important that you are able to distinguish between a real health food and false health food.This is now more important than ever because even fast foods are being heralded as healthy foods.

A dude that completely agrees with me on this is my good friend, Tom Venuto from burn the fat, who also happens to be a natural bodybuilder and fat loss expert. Tom is a guy that I respect a great deal and he amazingly achieved a 3.7% body fat level without drugs or supplements…all he used were whole natural foods and some good ole hard work. My point is…this dude knows his stuff. Here is what Tom had to say about these false health foods…

Oddly enough, the answer is… “health food!” Even more incongruous, many are marketing their food for weight loss. Healthy weight loss food at Taco Bell and McDonalds? Is this a noble move to be applauded, is it a big corporate money grab, or is it a double edged sword?

The Six Pack Abs Diet – My Daily Meal Plan

Quite a few readers, tweeters, and facebookers have been asking me what I eat on a daily basis and to make things easy I decided to just respond to the multitude of questions by answering it in this blog post.

Now, you should know that my diet changes every few days or so (calories, macronutrients, etc), and depending if I have a shoot or competition coming up I may do things much differently than what I will show you here. I will carb cycle, have high fat days, low fat, low carb, high carb, higher protein, etc days or various combos of each. This post won’t go that far in depth, but here is sample meal plan that I typically follow while I am in maintenance mode, which is about 80 to 90 percent of the time.

How Artificial Sweeteners Are Making You Fat | Nutrition 101

It seems like everywhere you turn these days you see new products that say ‘zero calorie’ or ‘sugar free’ and you think to yourself, “wow, this must be my lucky day, that thing MUST be healthy. Since it has zero calories I can eat it all day long no problem right?”

Well…not exactly. Or should I say…not so fast my friend!

It seems like every day someone either emails me or sends me a tweet saying that they are doing everything they are “supposed” to be doing, but still can’t get to get the scale to budge one pound in the right direction. Trust me, I know how frustrating this can be! Losing weight is hard enough as it is, and to change your eating habits and still see no results, that’s even more frustrating.

Makes you just want to give up and go eat some cake right? Mmm cake…ok sorry got sidetracked for a second there… ;)

So why do these people not lose weight?

If I had to pick the most common reason why most people’s efforts have proved no results, I would say it is the deception about artificial sweeteners and processed diet foods.
